Start of the company; Carex Scheepvaart maatschappij NV at Rotterdam, by Mr. Blankenstein Sr.

1962
Carex was a forwarding agent for various international firms.

1972
Start of warehouse operations of hazardous goods for Swiss firm Ciba-Geigy at Spijkenisse in leased warehouses

1975
Company name changed to Blanex. Especially for warehousing activities the company Store-Ship was established.

1976
Move to new leased offices and adjacent warehouses in the Port of Rotterdam

1987
Move to a new (leased) location in the Port of Rotterdam

1991
Opening of dedicated site for Organic Peroxides in Moerdijk, The Netherlands

1999
Store-Ship moves to new location in Rotterdam Europoort, fully owned by the company

2001
Store-Ship starts assembly activities for the automotive industry

2004
Store-Ship starts a ‘combi-pack’ facility to be able to pack up to 4,000 cartons a day

2007
The Broekman Group takes over Store-Ship B.V., including the real estate. With this takeover Store-Ship’s clients can benefit from Broekman’s worldwide network with 12 own offices in India and own offices in Central and Eastern Europe and Singapore. Besides this the company also has a network in China.
